The normal (as far as I know) black nickel saxophone finish is an extremely thin layer of actual plating, probably the thinnest of all platings used in sax finishes. I got it back and now I have a new problem. Before I've never used to have a sticky G# or C# key, (left pinky G#, and low C#) but now, everytime I take it out of the case, I need to "unstick" it with a bill or something or else ....
